About Us

Based in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, ActNow Foundation (ANF) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit company that provides a platform for ethnically and racially diverse filmmakers, producers, writers & actors, whose productions focus on the full range of African-American & African experiences. Through the New Voices in Black Cinema Festival and other events, ActNow operates in an environment of progressive artistic collaboration, is accepting and welcoming of transition and change, all the while remaining true to its roots and commitment to African-American and Latino cultural development.
